Position Overview:
As a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in various healthcare settings. Responsibilities:

2. Assessment and Planning: They assess patients' health status, identify healthcare needs, and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.

3. Collaboration: RPNs work closely with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

4. Documentation: Accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care provided, and treatment outcomes is a crucial aspect of the RPN role.

5. Health Education: RPNs educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care practices to promote optimal health and prevent illness.

6. Advocacy: RPNs advocate for patients' needs, ensuring that they receive appropriate care and support. They may also act as liaisons between patients and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

• Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with the appropriate regulatory body

• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

• CPR certification and other relevant certifications as required
